Teaching

After being a substitute teacher in high schools for two years, I have served in a variety of teaching functions at UCSD over the past 8 years, including as a grader, section leader, lecturer, field research coordinator, and internship design.  In these capacities I have created course syllabi, taught classes, and coordinated with community organizations.  I have also had the pleasure of mentoring undergraduate students through the senior thesis program in Urban Studies and Planning, student-run programs like Proyecto SUAVE, and the Political Science Undergraduate Research Assistant program.
